good morning, americaI really wanted to pen some kind of end-of-year message for me and mine yesterday but just couldn't muster the time or inspiration. 2005 had some hardcore suckage, almost ended on a terrible down note but was saved at the 11th hour by the appearance of a lady and the purchase of an Ipod.
(right now i'm debating which was more life-changing...)
Digressing, things are definitely looking up, but I do suppose that's just the date taking it's toll on my perception. I won't make the mistake this year of trying to predict what 2006 will bring, there's absolutely no way to glean a vibe on the upcoming 12 months, and now I wonder why people even try. Resolutions, prophecies - all pretty much useless.
What I can do, and what I usually do, is tell you how I feel at this very moment.... Tired, Ecstatic, Optimistic, Peaceful, Wanted, Appreciative, Invigorated, Unfocused, Grateful.
I wish the few of you out there all the best this year, let's go get 'em team.
